When Joff stood up in Covenant Youth and told us he had cancer, I felt the overwhelming, divine push to go up front and pray over Joff. Everyone followed, and we all had a Jesus moment as we laid hands on Joff and prayed. Ever since that day, him and I formed a great friendship. He was like a grandfather to me. I miss him so much.

Sincere thoughts and prayers to Robin, and Joffre's family. I have always thought of Joffre as one of the sharpest, wittiest, and grounded in faith friends, from high school to adulthood. He was quite the inventor with his ability to apply practical applications to electronics, sharing numerous solutions to improve operation for mechanical machinery, thinking outside the box for solutions. I wish I would have taken him up on an afternoon motorcycle ride together. He always had that welcoming smile, positive attitude on life. What a great man. To the Rolland Family,
I am very saddened to hear of Joff’s passing. He was one of the first dear friends that I met at Highways, so many years ago, and I think everyone that knew him can attest that he was a friend for life. He really did take me under his wing. I had no business with a chain saw in a bucket truck at 19 years old, but Joff could instill that kind of confidence in a person. It is so easy to lose contact even with great friends while going about our daily lives, and for that time not spent wisely I am sorry. Robin and girls, I am so sorry for your loss, and I know what you meant to him and vice versa. Joff was a very intelligent and caring guy, always willing to learn and with a sense of humor that was unsurpassed. It is most accurate to say that he did possess many talents and gifts. I asked him for help, and there was never a delay or no for an answer. I think the last time I saw him was in Fairmont in 2010, but we picked up right where we left off. With his loss, we will always be encouraged to know it is only temporary, and that his faith and devotion to others was very important to him. He was such a positive influence on my myself and my dad and it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if they haven’t met again already. My thoughts are prayers are with you.

So many that I feel that I really got to know him through his eyes. I know that he loved God with all his heart, soul,mind and strength as few others did. So, God rest his soul, we will meet one day.

So very sorry to hear of Joff’s passing! He was a truly great guy! We went to school together and he was always so nice to everyone! Always had a smile for all and would make many of us laugh! I had not communicated with him except for the past few years through Facebook... still always kind and happy! It does make me feel better to know I will see him again! To Joffre's Family, So sorry of the loss of such a happy and blessed person. I worked with him at WV Paging and always shared his love for music and God. He was a blessing to everyone that he met. His smile was contagious and he had a great laugh. Heaven will be blessed to have him in the courts of the King. Cherish the memories always.

I am so sorry that the world has lost such an angel but now he has his wings and can soar. There was a time in my life, before Danny and I were married, that I felt like I had no one and Joff was the friend that got me through and basically saved my life. Robin, you have been so strong through Joff's journey. I don't think I could have done all that you have. And you can still make us laugh with your facebook stories. Brittany and Sarah, you have been like my own. Stay strong. Besides God, the 3 of you were Joff's world and he would have done anything for his three ladies.
