I just found out of the passing of a great detective and man. I'm truly saddened. We worked on several cases together when I was an Assistant States Attorney for Prince George's County, MD. His cases were always well written and developed. Great person, easy to get along with, always available if I needed something for my case. He had great integrity and treated everyone with decency. He will truly be missed. To his family and friends, please accept my condolences.

I had met Keegan early March of this year. During the small window I had with him, he imparted so much wisdom and was a shoulder to cry on through all the rough situations in my life. He was a great buddy to hang out with. He always referred to me as his "main man" even though I only knew him for such a short time. I felt great knowing that we both made such a profound impact on eachother. We saw ourselves as kindred spirits. If only I got to know him sooner.
There will never be another man as goofy and unique as Keegan, the memories I made with him I will cherish forever.

Keegan was a great guy and strong advocate for students. We will certainly miss his strolling through the hallways, coffee mug in hand, leading students around to meet staff. We always his enjoyed his visits to our Student Services area. We are shocked and sad, and we will miss him terribly.
I want his family to know that we considered him "family," too.
