To the family members of Sam: You were blessed having this wonderful person in your life to call husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin. I was blessed to call this person a friend. Sam was what I would call a gentle man and a gentleman. I can truly say he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. I am so sorry for your loss!

My heart is broken ! I am so thankful for the chance to meet for lunch last August. Sam was such an upbeat man! I wish we could have seen him again before his health turned. Our prayers go out to Francie as she adjusts to life without her sweet Sammie.

There are just no words to express my feelings. "I'm sorry" is inadequate, but I AM sorry that you've lost such a great man, best friend & loving husband. He was a one-of-a-kind fellow that you generously shared with all of his. His humor was contagious! He will be sadly missed, but remembered with a smile and a very warm heart.
