Great Father in Heaven, Oh Holy One! God Almighty! Fierce Protector! Generously kind, and so Merciful. We thank you for being our All in all, and for watching over us in every aspect of our lives. Thank your for your guiding light, and Holy Spirit! Today we lift the Goodwin family into your loving arms, for you to fill them with love, peace, and comfort. Please bring them into submission to you, and help them to accept Robert's passing. In your mercy and grace, we ask you to help them hold onto the many pleasant memories they have, and to rejoice in his release. As we look forward to catching up with him, we pray for patience. We still have things to do here... please bless our efforts, and help us to move past the swirling emotions as quickly as possible. In Jesus' name, Amen.
