We are so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Lori helped us out a lot and was there for us. She was a wonderful person we love her every much. We wish we could be there in person to show our respect to her and her family. Mrs. Lori will be very missed. She was the best person we knew.

I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the Eakin family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection (John 5:28, 29) and the renewed Paradise earth, where death is an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26) that will very soon be eliminated forever, and no family will mourn the death of a loved one (Revelation 21:4). This promise has been given by Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18). Truly, what a glorious and almost unbelievable day that will be! It's a reality though for God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). Our family met Lori in San Francisco in 1964. She was a such a sweet little girl with a winning smile. Lori and my daughter Sheri were special friends and the sleep overs were a common occurrence. In 2010 or 11 Lori came to Idaho and we filled in life stories Sincerely, Sue Strobel

Lori was like a mother to me when I was young. I spent so much time at her house. I was very good friends with her daughter Amber and when I was there she treated me like one of her own. She always talked to us and gave us advice I carry with me today. She was a special woman. She just had something about her that made her stand out. Maybe it was her kind, enormous, heart of gold. I know how much she loved her kids and always tried so hard to be the best mom possible. She always taught us all the true values in life. She was always smiling no matter the situation. She was the embodiment of hope. She made you feel like everything would be okay. She had a nature comfort about her. I felt safe when I was at Lori's. She loved her family so much and was so excited to become a grandmother each time. Anyone who spent any amount of time at all with her knew that she took so much pride in her family and loved ones. She always set a good example and made young people open their eyes a little more and realize the true important things in life. I will always remember her for that. Thank you Lori for always letting me come there as a kid as much as I did. Some of my best memories were at your home. My childhood wasnt always ideal, but when I was at your house it was like being "home". You did so much for so many people and impacted many lives in positive ways. You always treated me and everyone else with kindness, generousity, and love. You will be unbelievably missed by countless people, including me. You are loved endlessly. Bye for now.

Though I only had the pleasure of seeing Lori a couple of times, she was a second mother to my daughter. It was comforting to know that she had a second family where she was living. She was readily accepted into the family, and was well loved and cared for by Lori. When I met with Lori, there was a lot of smiles and laughter, and I was looking forward to sharing family with her. So many events that we will now be thinking how much she would have enjoyed being with us. Love and prayers to her loved ones.
