Although I haven't seen Uncle Lem in many years; my childhood memories are full of warm thoughts of him. He will forever be bigger than life, cheerful, and vibrant in my remembrances of him.
He was a very kind and thoughtful man. I wish I had taken the time to tell him what a gift he was to our family.
He was man of honor and integrity, loyal and true.
I am sad and lonely to know that he is no longer among us. In my mind, without having seen him in such a long time, he is gentleman farmer in his beloved Bridgeport.
He is among the cloud of witnesses in heaven now; cheering us on to stay the course to the finish.
All my love and heartfelt sympathy,
Anne
