Dear Bob and sons,
Garnet was a wonderful neighbor. We will miss seeing her walking by our home. She always looked out for her neighbors and was such a caring, patient Grandmother. She was such a great walker! ..I could never have kept up with her pace. For so many years she walked with Nathan and was so patient with him. A true Christian Spirit. She was good to check on all of us and kept us informed of things we might need to be aware of. The last time I saw her, I was cleaning my dining room windows and thought...I should yell out a "Good Morning" but didn't want to interrupt her walk. This was just a few weeks ago. We know she bravely fought off cancer more than once and never let it get the best of her. How many of us could ever be that strong?
Our neighborhood will all miss her. Please know we send you our love and prayers.

Reading this on face book this morning took my breathe away. Prayers for the family as I know how much they will miss her. My Mother lived across the street from Garnet and Bob and that's how I got to know her and what a wonderful person she was. My Mother loved her and I am sure they are having a wonderful reunion in Heaven. After my Dad passed, I always thought of Garnet my my Mom's guardian angel. She checked on her everyday and was always bring her something to eat. Garnet you were an Angel on earth and now you have your Wings. We Love You and will miss running into you as we are out and about.
