Our family has known Fred, we called him 'Freddie, and his family for decades. Our biological mother met Fred and his first wife, Joyce at church, Church of Christ when it was located in downtown Fairmont. This friendship continued until our mother passed away in 1964. After our father remarried the friendship was continued until current day. Fred was the most kindest man I have ever met. He was genuine, had a kind heart and truly loved his family and ours. In the past years, he had seen tragedy as both of his children passed away in accidents. This was hard on him I am sure but he endured. Freddie will be missed terribly but, we rejoice in the knowledge that he walks with Jesus on the streets of gold in Heaven. Thank you Freddie for being such a kind friend to all of us.
