Obituary of Jon Bradley "Brad" Yost

Jon Bradley “Brad” Yost, 60, of Fairmont, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at his home. He was born in Fairmont on January 27, 1964, a son of the late Denzel Merton Yost and Betty Lee Kayser Yost Moore. Brad is survived by his loving wife, Laurie Jean Luhmann Yost; three sons, Brent Yost and his partner Ashley Wratchford of Fairmont, Ryan Yost and his partner Josie Hamrick of Morgantown, and Jon Travis Yost of Phillipi; six grandchildren, Tayah, Keegan, Catherine, Ryker, Kambri, and Adalynn; brother, Clark Yost of Fairmont; and sister, Linda Yost of Fairmont. In addition to his parents, Brad was preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine Costello Yost. Brad was a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School and worked as a carpet cleaner for Hines Carpet Company and as a fleet wash employee for Sparkle Wash. He enjoyed being with his friends at the Last Stop Bar & Grill, doing jigsaw puzzles with his grandchildren, and watching old television shows. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Brad’s memory to Benton’s Ferry United Methodist Church, 1126 Serene Dr., Fairmont, WV 26554. The family has entrusted arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554. There will be no public services.
