William Harbarger

Obituary of William (Bill) B. Harbarger

William (Bill) B. Harbarger Jr. of Barrackville, WV was called home on November 23,2023 after fighting several illnesses for years. He was born October 1, 1953 in Fairmont, WV. Bill was an outgoing person and never met a stranger. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. If you knew Bill, you know how he liked to tell stories about all of this and so much more. He was employed several different places throughout his life, but made FSU his final job for 21 years. He was married to his childhood sweetheart Sandra S. (Willard) Harbarger for 48 years. He vowed to never forget who she was and he stayed true to that promise. They raised two children with William (Billy) I. Harbarger and Stephanie M. (Warnick) Harbarger. He taught many life lessons they will hold onto. He had two grandchildren Madalynne (Maddie) A. Harbarger and Isaac W. Harbarger whom he loved dearly. He would light up every time they were around and they brought Pap so much joy. He enjoyed watching tv or playing games with them. He left this world behind, but the memories and impact he left will be cherished forever. Matthew 5:4 says, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted”. So, as we mourn the loss of this great Man, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend may we remember all the good thoughts and memories he left us with. He leaves behind his wife Sandy with whom he enjoyed spending time together with and she will cherish those memories forever especially the nights she out fished him.
