Obituary of John Christopher Coll

John Christopher “Chris” Coll, 69, of Fairmont, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at his residence. He was born on March 2, 1954 in Saint Albans, WV, a son of the late Hubert and Maria E. A’Hearn Coll. Chris was a faithful member of The Saint Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Fairmont. He was a 1972 graduate of Saint Albans High School and a 1976 graduate of West Virginia University. He was a talented professional musician, having played in many bands including The Bobby Nicolas Band and The Mike Fowler Band. Chris is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Cronin (Andrew) and Rachel Coll, as well as three brothers, Vic (Pat) Quinet of Sun City West, AZ, Timothy (Brenda) Coll of Tornado, WV, and Kevin (Verna) Coll of Tornado, WV. The family has entrusted the arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Allen Chapel, 215 East Main Street, Bridgeport, WV 26330. A Memorial Service will be held at The Saint Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church on December 16, 2023, friends received at 10:00 am; memorial service at 11:00.
