Obituary of Aaron Robert Brummage

Aaron Robert Brummage, 49, of Fairmont passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born in Fairmont on August 13, 1973, son of Robert Leslie Brummage II and Linda Mae Nichols Brummage. In addition to his parents, Aaron is survived by his sister, Robyn Haught and her husband Matthew of Stuarts Draft, VA; nephew, Kyle Haught; niece, Hannah Haught; great-nephew, Emmorett Brummage; good friend who was like a brother to Aaron, Jason Oreskovich and his family; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Aaron was a former EMT for the Marion County Rescue Squad and volunteer fire fighter for the Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Department. He attended the Cavalry Christian School in Fairmont and was a 1991 graduate of East Fairmont High School where he was a member of the Busy Bee Band. Aaron was Christian by faith and attended Valley Chapel United Methodist Church and Fellowship Baptist Church. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed target shooting. Aaron was multitalented and recently began leather working and making things for family and friends. He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Aaron’s memory to the Marion County Rescue Squad, 400 Virginian Ave., Fairmont, WV 26554. The family has entrusted arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554. In accordance with his wishes, Aaron’s body will be cremated.
