Obituary of Frederick "Todd" Wise

Frederick “Todd” Wise, 60, of Fairmont, passed away with his family by his side, on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, due to congestive heart failure. He was born May 4, 1962 a son of Fred C. and Alice Casseday Wise. Todd was a Certified Real Estate Appraiser for over 40 years in the Fairmont Community and owned and operated his own company, Wise Appraisal. Todd loved his sports, especially WVU Football and Basketball. He was also a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Todd enjoyed spending time in the outdoors. Todd especially loved spending time with his family during family gatherings and holidays. Todd loved being with his great nieces and nephew’s and was a large supporter of their activities. Todd will always live in our hearts and be remembered for his witty personality. In addition to his parents, Todd is survived by brothers, Douglas Wise (Michelle), Jeff Wise (Barbara), and his sister Shelly Wise and her companion Robert Garner, his nieces, Amanda Nuzum (Ryan), and Cassie Wise, his nephews, Josh Wise (Blaire), Chad Wise (Stevie), Brandon Wise, and Hayden Wise. He is also survived by his cousins, Jamie Kosik, Jodi Henderson, and Kristi Kosik, as well as several great nieces and nephews, all of Fairmont. Todd was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jake and Guenadine Wise; maternal grandparents, Fay and Maxine Casseday; aunt, Shirley Casseday; aunt and uncle, Jim and Patricia Kosik; and nephew, Dustin Wise. The family has entrusted the arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2PM until 7PM, and on Monday, October 10, 2022 from 10AM until 11AM. The funeral will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 11AM with Pastor Jeff Haught officiating. Interment will follow at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Fairmont.
