Dad, you were the rock that this family was built on. You certainly instilled in us all the love that you had for God and provided us with the proper upbringing and moral compass that is so lacking in today’s world. I hope that we as a family can honor you in passing that onto others as we continue through this crazy thing we call life. You have been a great example as to the way I want to live my life by caring for others before yourself , you have been my hero in times of need , but most importantly, you have been my best friend throughout my life and I thank you for being there for me.
You will be greatly missed, however as we struggle with our lost, we are comforted to know that you have simply gone ahead of us to live in eternal peace. Please give Mom a kiss for all of us, and until we all meet again know that we would welcome it if you looked in on us from time to time.
