Fred loved Connie and his family and he loved life. He was his own man and lived accordingly. He never looked for trouble, but did not avoid it if presented. His tremendous sense of humor was contagious. He was always quick to smile and put others at ease. He was a hard worker and enjoyed helping others. A very religious man, he lived the Gospel. If you were a friend of Fred's, you had a friend for life. He was proud of his country and his military service and worked to honor others whom had served. He will be sorely missed, but he has left a legacy in the wonderful family that he and Connie raised. Rest in peace dear friend. Our loss has been heaven's gain.

Dear Mrs. Poling, Freddie, and all of the family. I brought cars to Fairmont Tire Center many times for service or maintenance and Fred and his staff always did a good job and treated us fairly. I had many pleasant conversations with Fred. My sincere condolences on your loss.

Connie and family, we are so sad to hear of Fred's passing. We were longtime friends in different ways. Sometimes just through the tire business, then through socializing and even hosting them at our winter home in Florida for a few days. He was friendly and generous with his kindness and hospitality.
