I was deeply saddened to learn of John's passing. He was a great friend to me and to the others who worked at the state office building. He always looked out for us women and made sure we got to our vehicles safely. He loved his dog so much, and we had lots of conversations about our pets. I will miss his wonderful smile and many kindnesses. Please accept my sincere condolences.
