Obituary of Gary Lynn Luckey

Gary Lynn Luckey, 72, of Fairmont passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020. He was born in Fairmont on August 11, 1948, a son of the late Albert and Marietta Luckey. Gary is survived by his wife, Joyce Luckey of Fairmont, his son, Brian Luckey and his wife Julie of Fairmont, and a special friend, Bruce Sayre of Fairmont. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his first wife, Suzanne Spine Luckey and his brother. Gary was a 1966 graduate of Fairmont Senior High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was protestant by faith and retired from Chemtura Corp. (formerly G.E.) of Morgantown. Gary was a member of Acacia Lodge #157 A.F. & A.M. and enjoyed welding and repairing machinery. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Gary’s memory to the Salvation Army, 1512 Locust Avenue, Fairmont, WV 26554.
