I just saw Doc about three weeks ago and although he was weakened by his fall, he seemed to be recovering well. So shocked to hear of his passing.
Our family’s connection to Doc goes back to the early 70s when Lew was coaching basketball for Pleasant Valley. Throughout our entire educational career we saw him as a supporter for all aspects of education.
We are so sorry for your loss.

Dr. Boyles was not only my dentist, he was my friend. Every visit to the office was more than a doctor-patient relationship. Dr. Boyles and Mrs. Boyles were always kind and cordial. Glenn, Jr., and Laura were also of the same kindred spirit. May "Doc" rest in peace and May God bless all of you.

ROGER CARR posted a condolence

Doc was my Dentist for many years. He once pulled a tooth of mine that had three roots, with one of them breaking off. I was 11 years old. He stopped for a moment and told me not to be scared and all would be fine. About 10 minutes later he pulled the root out and I never felt a thing. If I saw him out I always would talk with him. What a great loss for the Community and East Fairmont..

To the Boyles Family your dad filled the only filing I have ever had and it’s still there. He was such a good friend to my parent John and Maxine Downs He used to call Mrs East Side because I sent my kids to East Fairmont instead of West. They had a lot of fun prayers to your mother.
