Obituary of Alice "Jackie" Nay Bush

Alice “Jackie” Nay Bush, 89 of Fairmont passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. She was born May 28, 1927 in Fairmont, a daughter of the late Glenn Nay and Edna Bessie Whitehair Nay. Mrs. Bush was a homemaker and had previously worked as a waitress at Brooks Grill as well as several other restaurants in Fairmont. She was a protestant by faith. She was a member of the Fairmont Moose Lodge #9, Ladies Auxillary. She enjoyed dancing and being with family and friends and spent her last few days and nights with her special and loving companion Ruben Riley in the comfort of their home that they have recently been remodeling and redecorating together. She was very excited about the approaching birth of her great grandson Silas Bush. Survivors include a son Walton Dale Bush and his wife Donna Jo; daughters Susan Reese, Peggy Donlin McLaughlin, and Melody Simmons, all of Fairmont. Grandchildren include Donna Susan Slamen and husband Roger, Nancy Bass and husband Larry, Genie Reesman and Libby, Danny Donlin,Jr. and wife MIchelle, Dannyka Wolfe and husband Brett, Desmond Donlin and wife Julie, Joshua Bush and wife Andrea, Amanda Cheuvront and husband Jamie. Great grandchildren are Elizabeth Hamilton, Devin and Noah Reeseman, Seth ,and Brooke Donlin, Grace, Breanna , Isabelle and Beau Wolfe, Dylan , Mya and Dakota Donlin, Camden Cheuvrant, and soon to be Silas Bush. Also surviving is a very special friend, Ruben Riley and his sons Steven Riley and wife Barb, James Riley and wife Barb, David Riley and wife Lisa, and Larry Riley and wife Melissa as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Walton Bush in 1998; brothers Paul and Raymond Nay; sisters Mary Jane Chandler and Glenola Perpich. Friends may call at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont on Friday, July 8 from 1 PM until 9 PM and on Saturday, July 9 from 10 AM until 11 AM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, July 9 at 11 AM with Pastor Rex Musgrove officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren of the deceased and include Danny Donlin, Jr., Desmond Donlin, Joshua Bush, Brett Wolfe, Jamie Cheuvront, Devin Reeseman, Noah Reeseman, Seth Donlin.
