Obituary of James Guy Garrett

James Guy Garrett, 65, of Fairmont, West Virginia died Friday, October 2, 2020 in the Fairmont Medical Center – WVU Medicine. He was born February 20, 1955 in Fairmont, WV a son of Diane Ruth Hopkins Garrett and the late Guy Robert Garrett. He is survived by a son and daughter in law Tom & Amy Garrett of Fairmont, WV, a brother Dave Garrett of Fairmont, WV and two nephews Matt Garrett & his wife Whitney of Katy, WV and Zack Garret & his wife Trish of Fairview, WV. Jim was employed for over 20 years with the Monongahela Power Company at the Rivesville Power Station where he worked as a control room operator. He was a 1973 graduate of Fairmont Senior High School and attended West Virginia University. The family has entrusted care and arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554.
