Obituary of William Tyler Watton
William Tyler Watton, 28, of Fairmont passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2020, at his home. He was born in Fairmont on April 1, 1992, son of William M. Watton II of Weston and Jocilla Lea Merrifield of Fairmont.
Tyler is survived by his companion, Kristin Rager of Fairmont; three sons, William Jace Watton, Matthew Storm Gower, and an infant baby Watton soon to be born; three brothers, Mark Watton, Nicholas Watton, and Johnathan Watton; two sisters, Jocilla Tucker and Natalie Deane; three grandparents, Sue Smith, John Merrifield, and Roberta Watton; two nephews, Braen Critchfield and Reagan Glaspell; as well as several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Tyler was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Tucker and three grandparents, William Watton Sr., Bill Smith, and Brenda Merrifield.
Tyler enjoyed driving to the mountains, attending music festivals, and skateboarding. He loved spending time with family and friends.
The family has entrusted Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, with the arrangements.
