We always enjoyed visiting with all the Rice's in church and will miss Mr. Rice's gregarious nature. I am sorry I could not have been to the service to honor Mr. Rice's legacy. After having been out of the state, I felt it was better not to have come and possibly expose anyone.

We have very fond memories of this wonderful man. Oliver, Ruth and Family vacationed at our resort in Port Loring Ontario Canada for many years. Oliver loved to go bass fishing in the back lakes. It was not an easy adventure but he was always up for the challenge of dragging the boats over the beaver damns, through the swamps and yes even under a bridge. He knew he would probably come back with another trophy bass. Ruth, the love of his life would remain on the porch of her cottage and visit with the other weekly guests. We met most of the family over the years and enjoyed spending time with them as well. When I think of Oliver, whose was always very much a gentleman, it makes me smile. He was always so glad to see us after his long drive from WV. He would unload his car, take a short nap and be out in the boat before you could blink an eye. Dear Ruth and family: I knew these last few months were difficult for all of the family. Watching a loved one decline in health and pass away, all we know is Oliver is with the Lord and our Savior and is resting in peace. Oliver was a gentleman in all respects. He was instrumental in hiring me at the Clarksburg Service Center and was always a good friend. He made Mon Power a great place to work and I will miss him. Bob and Linda Cockrell

Such an amazing family and a man who deserves all the tributes this world has to offer. I feel sure if Oliver could tell us, he would say he has gained the biggest tribute offered to mankind and that would be spending eternity with our Lord and Savior.
