Obituary of Judith Faye Marshall Bonafield

Judith Faye Marshall Bonafield, 80, of Morgantown, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown after a brief illness. She was born December 15, 1939 in Tennessee, a daughter of the late James Harry and Leah B. Jenkins Marshall. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Bonafield. Mrs. Bonafield was a Methodist by faith and was a homemaker in her own home. Her biggest joy was taking care of her family and providing a loving and nurturing environment in which they could come home. Judith is survived by her two children, Dr. Cynthia L Bonafield and her husband Mike Mazelon of Fairmont, and Pat and his wife Buffy Bonafield of Bridgeport, her grandchildren, Nicholas, Leah, and Natalie Mazelon, and Victoria and Nathan Bonafield, a brother, Alva J. Marshall of Manchester, TN, and many extended family members. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Major Dennis S. Marshall of Louisville, KY and Frederick Marshall of Vonore, TN. The family has entrusted care and arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV.
