Obituary of Mary Ann Wright

Mary Ann Wright,77, of Millersville, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born February 23, 1943 in Philippi a daughter of the late John Douglas Paugh and Iva Ellen Whitehair Paugh West. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack W. Wright. Mrs. Wright was a Pentecostal by faith and a homemaker in her own home. Mary Ann enjoyed listening to her Sunday church service on the radio, as well as regularly reading her Bible. She enjoyed her flowers, listening country music, and traveling around West Virginia on day trips. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Bill Wright, Mark and his wife Debi Wright, and Jackie Wright all of Fairmont, her grandchildren Michael Edward Wright of Martinsburg, Andrea Rose Wright, Brandi Nicole Herndon, and Ashley Dawn Williams, all of Fairmont, as well as six great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Paugh, and her special long-time friend Patty Bragg, and her close friend Jerry Stout. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her brother Roscoe Paugh, her sisters, Nellie and her husband Bill Stout, and Eva and her husband Don Tennant, and her great grandson, Barrett Masters Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 1582, Arlington, VA 22215. The family has entrusted Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV with the services for Mary Ann. According to her wishes, cremation services will be held.
