Obituary of Phyllis Jean Less

Phyllis Jean Less, 80, formerly of Fairmont passed away on Wednesday morning, June 15, 2016, in the Transition Healthcare Assisted Living in Washington, PA. Phyllis was born in Fairview on July 25, 1935 a daughter of the late James Chester Michael and Mildred Margarite Tuttle. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert L. Kintyhtt and Junior Less. Phyllis is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Erdie and her husband Jeff of Fairmont and Delina Less and her close friend Patty McCauley of Morgantown, WV; her grandsons, Christopher Erdie and his wife Emily and Ryan Erdie and his wife Holli; six great grandchildren, Colton, Brayson, Aiden, Peysen, Hadley, and Taylen Erdie; one brother, Chester Michael and his wife Susan; her two sisters, Mildred Mae Kinty and Patricia Floyd and her husband Bill; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husbands, Mrs. Less was preceded in death by one sister, Diane Huffman and a brother-in-law, Carl Kinty. Mrs. Less was Protestant by faith and enjoyed watching cooking shows. She loved to spend time with her family. The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Friday, June 17, 2016, from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday, June 18, 2016, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tim Edin officiating.
