My deepest sympathy to Maxine's family. Her brother Hugh was my step-father, and "Aunt Maxine" and Uncle Dell were among my favorite relatives growing up. We had lost touch after I went off to college, but I thought (and think) of them often. She was a gem, always kind and understanding.
