Obituary of Charles Leroy Richards

Charles Leroy Richards, 63, of Fairmont, West Virginia passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at his residence. He was born November 14, 1956 in Fairmont, WV the son of Leroy Harding Richards & Catherine Josephine Knight Richards. He is survived by his sister Suzie Garrett of Fairmont, WV, a niece and her husband Amanda & Randy Allenby of Grant Town, WV and two nephews and their wives Matthew & Whitney Garrett of Farmington, WV and Zack & Trish Garrett of Fairview, WV. Charlie was disabled from an accident in 1978, but continued to work in the area as a mechanic and carpenter. He was a 1974 graduate of East Fairmont High School. He was an avid animal lover and enjoyed being with his pet beagle “Lady Bug”. The family has entrusted arrangements to the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554.
