Obituary of Mary Josephine Wisenbaugh

Mary Josephine Wisenbaugh, 95, of Fairmont, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020, at the Genesis Pierpont Center. Mary was born in Lisbon, Ohio on August 17, 1924, a daughter of the late Matthew Skellan and Mary Polich Skellan. Mary is survived by her sister-in-law, Elaine Skellan, of Swarthmore, PA; several nieces and nephews; as well as other family, and friends, Mary Ellen and Charlie Devault. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Wisenbaugh; her son, Larry Truban; her sister, Anna Marott; her sister, Sophia Semanick; and her brother, Edward Skellan. Mrs. Wisenbaugh was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and a retired employee from the Westinghouse Corporation in Fairmont. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Genesis Healthcare-Pierpont Center and the Amedisys Hospice for their wonderful care, compassion and support. The Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 329 Maryland Ave., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Friday, January 10, 2020, at 10 a.m. with Father Jojan Joseph CST as celebrant.
