Obituary of Sue Anderson Watson

Sue Anderson Watson, 87, of Chester, VA and formerly of Fairmont, WV died Monday, January 6, 2020 in the Magnolia of Chesterfield Assisted Living. She was born November 14, 1932 in Fairmont, WV the daughter of the late Harrison “Bud” Anderson and Helen Anderson Altvalter. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Junior Watson who died in November 20, 2004. They were married for over 50 years. She is survived by a daughter Brenda Watson Glaser of Richmond, VA and a son and daughter in law Mark J. & Rebecca Thomas Watson of Chester, VA, a brother and sister in law Tom & Lynn Anderson of Midlothian, VA, a granddaughter Olyvia Marks Glaser of Philadelphia, PA and a sister in law Libby Anderson of Midlothian, VA. Sue was preceded in death by a brother Paul Anderson. Mrs. Watson was a homemaker and former member of the First United Methodist Church of Fairmont, WV. She graduated from Fairmont Senior High School and attended Fairmont State University. Sue was a former member of the Fairmont Field Club, the Fairmont Elks Lodge #294 and the Vandila Craft Club. She and her husband were formerly very loyal supporters of the Fairmont State University Tennis Team.
