Obituary of Lucretia Leah Dean

Lucretia Leah “Sissy” Dean, 45 years of age of Bridgeport, WV passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, WV. She was born to the late Joseph Hitt I and her mother Dora Fultineer Lang and her husband Rob of Bridgeport, WV. She is survived by her fiancé James Welsh; two daughters Kaly Ocheltree of Mannington, WV and Autumn Murphy of Walkersville, WV; a son Dalton Dean and his fiancé Cheyenne Scott of Bridgeport, WV; seven grandchildren Gabriel and Brentley Ocheltree, Leah and Payten Marsh, Eli Simpson, Colt Dean and Paxton Stewart; two brothers Joseph Hitt II and his wife Heather and their four children and Logan Lang of Bridgeport, WV; two sisters Rebecca Lang of Bridgeport, WV and Cassandra Lang of Alexandria, VA; two sons-in-law Charles Ocheltree and James Marsh and her fiance’s daughter MaLisa Welsh. She was a homemaker and loved her grandchildren. She looked forward to Sunday NFL football and watching her favorite team, America’s Team the Dallas Cowboys. Sissy always assisted others and even in her passing she helped others by donating to Center for Organ Recovery and Education. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Ford Funeral Home, 215 East Main Street, Bridgeport, WV towards expenses. Friends will be received at the Ford Funeral Home, 215 East Main Street, Bridgeport, WV on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from noon – 4:00 PM. A service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 4:00 PM with Reverend Dr. Dan Kimble presiding.
