Obituary of Patricia "Patty" Louise Tinder

Patricia “Patty” Louise Tinder, 83, of Fairmont, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at St. Barbara’s Nursing Home in Monongah. Patty was born on February 14, 1936, the daughter of the late Willard and Mavis Tinder. She is survived by her caregiver and second mother, Carol Pitts.

Patty enjoyed listening to country music and shopping. She loved spending time at the Senior Center and their activities. Patty was a very unique person and was truly one of a kind. She will be missed.

Memorial contributions may be made in Patty’s memory to the Marion County Senior Citizens, 105 Maplewood Drive, Fairmont, WV 26554.

The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Saturday, November 23, 2019, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at 12 noon. A private committal will take place at a later time.
