Obituary of Paul Samuel Houston

Paul Samuel Houston, 85, of Bel Air, MD and formerly of Fairmont, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at the Forest Hill Heights Senior Living in Forest Hill, MD. He was born on October 31, 1933, son of the late Paul Hopkins Houston and Leila Stemple Houston.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Sandra June Cutlip Houston; two daughters, Catherine Elaine Valle and her husband Charles of Jarrettsville, MD and Cynthia Marie Kershaw and her husband Robert of Springfield, VA; son, Paul Samuel Houston II and his wife Marcia of Phoenix, MD; four grandchildren, Colleen, Gretchen, Heidi, Emma; five great-grandchildren, Andrew, Spencer, Lee, Vivian, Samuel.

Paul was a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School and earned a Chemistry Degree from Fairmont State College. He worked as a Chemist, had a passion for photography, and played the piano beautifully.

A graveside service will be held for family and friends on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Fairmont. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fordfuneralhomes.com.
