I was so sorry to hear of Carl’s passing. For quite some time, he and my brother Mike were best friends, they went into the Navy together under the buddy plan, I believe. Michael died this year as well. Carl and I remained friends for a long time and he was always the sweetest and kindest man. His parents, Reverend and Mrs. Buckner took care of me once when my mom went in the hospital. Wonderful family.
