Obituary of Karol Jean Wilson Boyce

Karol Jean Wilson Boyce, 78 years old, passed away at her residence on March 16, 2016. She was born on June 4, 1937, in Cook Hospital in Fairmont, WV the daughter of the late Albert Royce Wilson and Louella Maxine Sturm Wilson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Oliver Boyce of Fairmont, WV. She is survived by her sons, Paul Douglas Boyce and fiancé Cecilia Meleady, and Michael Eugene Boyce and wife Kathy, and daughter Cynthia Sue Harker and fiancé Squirrel Criss all of Fairmont, WV. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren including Amanda “A.J.” Harker and fiancé Bert Steele of Athens, GA, Brittany Boyce-Farley of St. Albans, WV, Joshua Boyce of Morgantown, WV, Michaela Boyce and fiancé Joshua Stickley of Petersburg, WV, Amber Kabulski and husband Galen of Charleston, SC, and Maxine Harker and fiancé Donnie Stevens of Fairmont, WV. She is survived by 4 great grandchildren, Kruz Farley of St. Albans, WV, Uriah Topardo, Mariah Stevens and Christian Stevens of Fairmont, WV. She is also survived by a brother Gary Wilson and his wife Stephanie, and a sister Sharon Hudson and her late husband Rock Hudson all of Fairmont, WV. Karol attended Barnes Elementary and Fairmont Senior High School. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 34 in Fairmont for over 30 years. She enjoyed square dancing at the YWCA in Fairmont for over 15 years. She loved to watch her children and grandchildren play sports over the years. Karol also enjoyed talking on the phone at the end of the day with her late dear friends Choo Choo Swisher and Sue Mason. The family will receive friends and celebrate her life at the Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV on Saturday, April 2 from 11am until 6pm.
