Obituary of Joshua James Abruzzino
Joshua James Abruzzino, 42, of Farmington passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019, at the Brighton Rehab and Wellness Center in Beaver, PA. Josh was born in Fairmont on December 21, 1976, a son of John Arthur Abruzzino Jr. and Kathy Jean Tarleton Abruzzino.
Josh was a graduate of North Marion High School and attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He worked at Outback Steakhouse, managed Tim Core’s Car Wash and was a mechanic for Bill Snider. He enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles and spending time with his friends. Josh was very close to his late grandfather, John Abruzzino Sr.
In addition to his parents, Josh is survived by his brothers, Jeremiah Abruzzino of Fairmont and Levi Abruzzino of Farmington; his grandmother, Marty Tarleton of Lima, OH; several great aunts and uncles including, Paul and Linda Phillips of Mannington; and his godmother, Sandra Blizzard of Texas.
In addition to his grandfather, John Abruzzino Sr., Josh was preceded in death by his grandmother, Helen Abruzzino; his grandfather, Scott Tarleton; an uncle Jimmy Joe Abruzzino; and godfather, Jimmy Nagy.
In accordance with Josh’s wishes, his body has been cremated. The family will receive friends at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 329 Maryland Ave., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. The Catholic Funeral Liturgy will be held in the church on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at 10 a.m. with Father Jojan Joseph C.S.T. as celebrant.
