Obituary of Delana Sue Haney Yost

Delana “Dee” Sue Haney Yost, 72, of Fairmont passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018, at her residence. She was born in Fairmont on October 2, 1946, daughter of Dale Haney and the late Mildred May Haney.

In addition to her father, Dee is survived by her daughters, Kim Wilkins and her husband Hartzel of Fairmont and Donna Ramage and her fiancé Tim Amos of Fairmont; three grandchildren, Ross Ramage, Ashley Wilkins and Rachel Ramage; her sister, Dianna Noechel of Fairmont; three brothers, Donald Haney (Joyce) of Florida, Ronald Haney (Linda) of North Carolina and Dennis Haney of Fairmont; her special friend and caregiver, Jim Ammons of Fairview; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Dee was preceded in death by a son, Brian Ice.

Dee was a 1964 graduate of East Fairmont High School and worked at Phillips Lighting and the John Manchin Healthcare Center. She loved animals and creating ceramics. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Thursday, December 20, 2018, from 12 noon until 1 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Scott Krepps officiating.
