Obituary of Larry Ray Stewart, Sr.

Larry Ray Stewart, Sr., 70, of Salem St., Fairmont, WV, passed away early Monday morning in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.   He was born November 11, 1948 in Fairmont, WV, son of the late Harry Jr. and Lucille V. Conrad Stewart.   Larry was a 1966 graduate of East Fairmont High School.   Larry served with the U.S. Marine Corp during the Viet Nam War.   He was a Purple Heart Recipient.   Larry retired from Industrial Resources as a welder in 1990.   He was earlier employed with Owens Illinois, working on the production line.   He was a member of the VFW in Fairmont, WV.   He was also active with the Moose Lodge in both Clarksburg, WV and Morgantown, WV.   Larry truly enjoyed the outdoors and riding motorcycles.   Survivors include his wife, Robin “Robinette” Stewart of Fairmont, WV,   Two daughters Kim Stewart Mullens of Fairmont, WV and April Stewart Ford of Fairmont, WV,   a son Larry Ray Stewart, Jr. of Fairmont, WV,   a step-son, Matthew Galanti Fairmont, WV,   five grandchildren, Whitney Ford of Fairmont, WV, Tyler Stewart of Morgantown, WV, Jessica Mullens of Fairmont, WV, Justin Mullens of Fairmont, WV, , and Kendra Lyons of Fairmont, WV,   a step-grandchild, Calvin Galanti of Fairmont, WV,   a great grandchild, Annabella Bombardiere of Bridgeport, WV,   a sister, Belinda and her husband Kevin Owens of Fairview, WV,   a nephew, Bryant Owens of Waynesburg, PA,   and his favorite pet and friend, Harley.   Family and Friends may call at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV from 3pm until 8pm on Wednesday and from 11am until 1pm on Thursday.   Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Thursday, 11-29-2018, at 1pm, with Pastor Michael Delligatti officiating.   Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery in Fairmont, WV.   The military veterans will observe full military services at the grave side.  On line condolences may be made to www.fordfuneralhomes.com.
