Obituary of Nellie Morgan Zampedro

Nellie Morgan Zampedro, 99, of Fairmont, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at her residence.  She was born November 10, 1919 in Bacup, England, a daughter of the late James T. and Elizabeth A. Saunders Stott.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Morgan, as well as her second husband Valentine Zampedro

Mrs. Zampedro was a member of the Central Christian Disciples of Christ Church in Fairmont.  She retired as a store clerk from the G.C. Murphy Department Store in Fairmont, WV.  She was a former member of Fairmont Fitness where she was very active.  Nellie enjoyed walking, dancing, reading, and visiting with friends and family when she was able.

She is survived by her daughter, Shonnette Johnson and her husband James of Fairmont, her three grandchildren David Morgan of Clearwater, FL, Steven Johnson of Shinnston, WV, and Stephanie Morgan of Fairmont, as well as her two great grandchildren, Michael Johnson and Corey Johnson.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Morgan, as well as her two brothers and 3 sisters.

Friends and family may visit the Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 10 AM until 12 noon.  The funeral will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 12 noon with Reverend Dr. Robin Norsworthy officiating.  Interment will follow at the Mt.
