Obituary of Wanda Lee Henthorn

     Miss Wanda Lee Henthorn, 77 years of age of Fairmont, WV passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Genesis Fairmont Campus Pierpont Center.  She was born June 13, 1941 in Wellsburg, WV, the daughter of the late James Kenneth and Edith Mae Butler Henthorn.

     She is survived by one brother Jim Henthorn of Reader, WV; two nieces Lee Niezgoda and her husband Randy of Fairmont, WV and Megan Brown of Columbus, OH; two nephews Mark Greenawalt of Gainsville, VA and Jeremy Eddy and wife Renee of New Martinsville, WV; two great nephews Nathan Niezgoda of Fairmont, WV and Peyton Brown of Columbus, OH and one great niece Kenzie Niezgoda of Fairmont, WV.  She was also preceded in death by a sister Linda Greenawalt.

     Wanda retired with forty years of service from Allegheny Energy.  She previously worked at the Sistersville Division and completed her work in clerical at the Call Center in Fairmont.  She was a faithful member of Barrackville Church of Christ.

     Friends will be received at the Ford Funeral Home, R.C. Jones Chapel 1410 Country Club Road, Fairmont, WV on Wednesday from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.  The funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Evangelist Steve Snider presiding.  The interment will follow in Monumental Cemetery.
