Obituary of Tammy Jo Coger

Tammy Jo Coger, 51, of Valley Falls Rd., Grafton, WV, passed away early Monday morning in Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.   She was born July 12, 1967 in Fairmont, WV, daughter of Alma Jane Chrislip of McCurdysville, WV and the late Raymond Lewis Harris.   Tammy was a member of McCurdysville United Methodist Church and later in life attended Asbury United Methodist Church in Fairview, WV.   She was employed at Middletown Home Sales and Wilfong Enterprises in Fairmont, WV.   Tammy enjoyed being with her family and friends and truly loved being with her grandchildren.   She enjoyed camping trips, hunting, fishing, and all craft work.   Tammy spent many hours caring for other people and she truly will be missed.   She loved her pets Buddy and KD.   Survivors include her husband Denzil J .Coger of Grafton, WV (married 31 years),   2 daughters and their husbands, Brandy and  Jerald Floyd of Fairmont, WV and Lacy Jane and Joseph VanGilder of Fairmont, WV,   6 grandchildren, Tammy Rae Knotts, Zachary Levi Lawson, Jessie Lee Floyd, Myra Jane VanGilder, Kaylee Jo VanGilder, and Joseph Allen VanGilder, all of Fairmont, WV,   3 brothers, Frankie Harris and Angela Long of Wana, WV, Robert and Marion Harris of McCurdysville, WV, and Jody and Donna Harris of McCurdysville, WV,   2 sisters,  Sunday and Robert Berry of Fairview, WV and Karen and Richard Bell of McCurdysville, WV,  Several nieces and nephews, including a close niece and her husband Hileri and Ernest Gorbey of Fairview, WV, with their children Angel, Emma, and Isaac.   She was preceded in death by a brother, Jessie Harris in 2016.   Family and Friends may call at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, Jasper St., Rivesville, WV from 6pm until 8pm on Thursday, 1pm until 8pm on Friday, and 11am until 1pm on Saturday.   Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Saturday, September 8, 2018, at 1pm, with Pastor Mike Brown officiating.   Burial will follow in McCurdysville Cemetery in McCurdysville, WV.   The family requests that all memorial donations be made to Brandy Floyd, 708 Ogden Ave., Fairmont, WV.   Online condolences may be made to www.FORDFUNERALHOMES.com.
