To the family of the Roger Perdue,
Please accept my sincere condolences in Roger’s passing. I went to Manila Grade School with the Perdue siblings and participated in 4H with them. Many fun times come to mind as I remember Roger, Johnny, Judy, Steve and Mr and Mrs Perdue. No finer family. Prayers for comfort during this sad time.

It was an honor to have know and worked with Roger for over 30 years in career and technical education. He was a trusted friend and colleague who always put the best interests of students first.
Roger fought a long and courageous fight and has ultimately won the battle.

Patti, Shelle, and Amanda:
I want to extend my sincere condolences to all of you on the loss of Roger. He was my husband, Dave's, best friend. They got sick at the same time, but Roger fought a long hard fight to stay on this earth. Now they are again together after 13 years.
I am sure, Patti, that Roger owes these extra years to his strong belief in God, and to you being a great wife, an excellent cook providing him with proper nutrition, and being a super caregiver to him.
Right now it is so hard to cope with, even though people say he is no longer suffering and is with God. It does get easier with time, but Roger's passing has brought back many memories and tears for me as well as I remember all the good times we had as couples.
I know Roger loved his grandchildren. Dave has one grandchild that he did not even get to see. I was really touched by the verse in the frame about Grandpa that was on display at the funeral home.
I will keep all of you in my prayers and know that someday we will all be together again. I love you.

It was a privilege to be his pastor for nine years, 1983-1992, a time when Roger and Patti made enormous contributions to the church’s life and work.
