Obituary of Mable DuVal Doyle

Mable DuVal Doyle, 102, of Fairmont passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at the Fairmont Health & Rehabilitation Center. Mable was born in Roper, NC on October 2, 1913, a daughter of the late Nathan Weston DuVal and Lella Estelle Sitterson DuVal. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry Newbell Doyle, Sr. Mable is survived by her three sons, Harry N. Doyle, Jr. and his wife Jackie of Matthews, VA, James D. Doyle, Sr. and his wife Mary of Barrackville, WV, and Ronald W. Doyle and his wife Robin of Harrisonburg, VA; her grandchildren, Cynthia Dewitt, Harry N. Doyle, III, Susan D. Harper, James D. Doyle, Jr., Glen P. Doyle and his wife Sandy, Jared Doyle, and Rebekah E. Doyle; her great grandchildren, Bryan Dewitt, Ashleigh Mataya, Emily G. Harper, James T. Harper, Sean P. Doyle, Caitlin R. Doyle, Jenesis Gregory, Myles Gregory, Mason Gregory, and Letty Gregory. In addition to her parents and husband, Mable was preceded in death by her brothers-, Ronald W. DuVal, Nathan H. DuVal, Robert F. DuVal, and Harry DuVal who was killed in World War 2 and her sisters, Edna D. Poole and Elise D. Tarrh and a special niece Eleanor Butler. Mable was a lifetime member of the Elizabeth River Baptist Church in Chesapeake, VA and also attended the First Baptist Church in Fairmont. The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 12 noon until 1 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 1 p.m. with Reverend Stephanie Bennett officiating.
