Obituary of Howard "Dick" Earl Wells

Howard “Dick” Earl Wells, 79, of Fairmont passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018, at the Genesis Tygart Center in Fairmont. He was born on May 15, 1938, a son of the late Harold Wells and Margaret Satterfield Wells. He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline Williams Wells.

In addition to his wife, Dick is survived by a son, Shawn Wells; a step-daughter, Tanya Pittman; 7 grandchildren; a brother, Jimmy Wells; and a sister, Sandra Ledsome.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Trina Wells; a brother, Bobby Wells; and a sister, Martha Pinn.

Dick was a graduate of Barrackville High School, worked as a cook at Say-Boy Restaurant and was a member of the Central Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, visiting his camp in Summersville and spending time with his family and friends.

The family has entrusted arrangements to Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554.
