Obituary of Mary Jane Esultante

Mary Jane Esultante, 86, passed from this life and heaven gained an angel on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. She was born on October 7, 1931 in Fairmont, a daughter of the late James Furbee and Edna Tucker Furbee.

Mary Jane retired in December 1993 from Fairmont General Hospital after 37 ½ years of service in the Laundry Department. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters Hope Temple 71 for many years and attended St. Paul United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter Julie A. and David Tyke Bodkin of Worthington and a son Joseph M. and Missy Esultante of Colfax. Her grandchildren Lil Joseph Esultante and companion Annie Hammel Martin of Rachel and Sonya Esultante of Colfax. Her great grandchildren Zander Esultante, Zaida and Aiden Martin of Rachel. She is also survived by a special sister Jean Linn of Fairmont and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, James W. Furbee, Jack E. Furbee, Manuel G. Furbee, Walter A. Furbee and Thomas T. Furbee.

Mary Jane was a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, neighbor and friend. Her passing leaves a hole in our hearts, but this is not goodbye. Just so long for now.

The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Roy Weese officiating.
