Obituary of Raymond "Burke" Hawkinberry

Raymond “Burke” Hawkinberry, 64, of Fairmont, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at the Genesis Pierpont Center. Burke was born on May 25, 1954, a son of Helen Fortney Hawkinberry and the late Raymond Howard Hawkinberry.

Burke enjoyed fishing, camping, boating and doing anything outdoors.

In addition to his mother, Burke is survived by a daughter, Brandy Hawkinberry; a son, Jason Pheasant; five brothers, Randy, Kevin, Albert, Duane and David Hawkinberry; two sisters, Merry Schmuck and Misty Hawkinberry; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren as well as countless nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Burke was preceded in death by two daughters, Bonnie “Bunny” Hawkinberry and Shawnee Hawkinberry.

In accordance with Burke’s wishes, he will be cremated. The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Saturday, June 16, 2018, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Scott Krepps officiating.
