Obituary of Ann Taylor

Ann Taylor, 79, of Fairmont, West Virginia died Friday, June 1, 2018 in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, WV.  She was born April 8, 1939 in Fairmont, WV a daughter of the late John Harold Boyce & Ella Gail Davis Boyce.  She was preceded in death by her husband Darius Dana Taylor in 2002.  She is survived by her beloved companion Sam Manno of Fairmont, WV.

She is survived by a son and daughter in law Wayne & Kathy Taylor of Fairmont, WV, a brother and sister in law Rex & Debbie Boyce of Preston County, WV, 3 grandchildren Angela Westfall, Kelly Allen & her husband Shayne Allen and Matthew Taylor & his wife Amanda Taylor, 4 great grandchildren Cassidy Knight, Kristen Knight, Mark Knight & Hunter Knight, 2 step grandchildren Benji Nixon & his wife Megan Nixon and Rachel Rosado & her husband Eduardo Rosado, 2 step great grandchildren Ian Rosado & Eva Rosado, 3 sister in laws Mary Santy of Fairmont, WV, Sue Boyce of Ohio & Penny Boyce of Virginia and several nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Charles Boyce, Paul Boyce & Yvon Boyce and a sister Dottie Currey.

Ann was a retired employee from the Philips Lighting Co. with over 40 years of service.  She enjoyed singing and entertaining others with Sam Manno at various nursing homes in the local area.

The family will receive friends at the Ford funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, WV 26554 on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 1-4 & 6-8 p.m. and Monday, June 4, 2018 from 10-11 a.m.  The funeral service will be held in the funeral home Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Allan Copenhaver officiating.  The committal service will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens.  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.FORDFUNERALHOMES.com.
