Obituary of Marilyn (McGee) Mullins

Judith “Marilyn” Mullins, 78, of Fairmont, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Fairmont Regional Medical Center.  She was born November 25, 1939 in Huttonsville, WV, a daughter of the late Omar D. and Lilyan Simmons McGee.  She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew “Jack” Mullins.

Mrs. Mullins was a dispatcher for the Fairmont City Police and previously the WV State Police.  She was a former member of the Marion County Rescue Squad.  She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, and reading.  She loved experiencing live music and spending time with family and friends. Marilyn also enjoyed going to the beach with her family.

Survivors include her daughters: Marilee (Kittle) and her husband Michael Moore of Raleigh, NC, Sherri (Kittle) and her husband Charles Rose of Kearneysville, WV, Stephanie (Kittle) and her husband Michael Houston of Fairmont, WV; her sisters: Janet (McGee) Elder of Barrackville, and Joan (McGee) Michael of Fairmont; her grandchildren: Shaun Moore, Dylan Moore, Tynan Ipaye, Arielle Johnson, Russ Luria, Mason Brownlow, Kealey Rose, Michael Houston Jr.; five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may visit the Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont, on Saturday May 12, 2018 from 1:30 until 2PM.  A memorial service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 2PM with Pastor Bill Toothman officiating.  Online condolences may be made to www.fordfuneralhomes.com.
