Obituary of Cynthia Lee Rosenberger Robinson
Cynthia Lee Rosenberger Robinson, 67, of Meadowlane Ave., Fairmont, WV, passed away Tuesday afternoon in her residence surrounded by her family. She was born July 21, 1950 in Fairmont, WV, daughter of the late Edward Lee and Mildred Potter Rosenberger. Cindy was a lifetime member of the Baptist Temple in Fairmont, WV, being active in the CWIA Circle and various other church activities. She was a graduate of East Fairmont High School in 1968 and graduated from Fairmont State College in 1972. Cindy loved her family and enjoyed celebrating and being together. She was a terrific homemaker and enjoyed looking at recipes and cooking for her loved ones. She was also known throughout the neighborhood as an amazing gardener. She enjoyed taking “Day” trips and collecting antiques. Cindy had a great love for all four of her grandchildren and their activities along with her beloved pets. Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years of marriage, Richard K. “Rick” Robinson of Fairmont, WV, 2 daughters, Rachel Anne Robinson of Fairmont, WV and Marcie Lee and her husband Allan Wotring of Fairmont, WV, 4 grandchildren, Trevor Richard, Shayla Anne, Whitney Lee, and Alexa Noelle Wotring, all of Fairmont, WV, 2 brothers and their spouses, Danny and Linda Rosenberger of Fairmont, WV and Alan and Sandy Rosenberger of Rivesville, WV, a sister and her husband, Gail and Donald Raikes of Ashland, VA, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV from 2pm until 8pm on Saturday and 12noon until 2pm on Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Sunday, 4-22-2018, at 2pm with Pastor Larry Barkley officiating. Burial will follow in Shinnston Memorial Cemetery and Mausoleum in Shinnston, WV.
