Obituary of Robert L. Wright
Robert L. Wright, 77, of Rivesville, West Virginia, currently residing in the Tygart Center passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018. He was born December 14, 1940 a son of the late William and Pauline Wright.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Robin Wright, a daughter Brooke L. Lindsey & her husband Steven and a special grandson Quinten Lindsey. Also surviving him are 4 children Robert Wright, Tammy Henderson & her husband Harry, Tina Patricy and Carl Wright, 3 sisters Ruby Tennant, Martha Runion, Catherine Wright, 3 brothers Charles Wright & his wife Carol, William Wright & his wife Annie and Johnny Wright, his sisters in law Mary Jo Swiger & her husband Cliff, Diana Campione & her husband B.J., Kimberly Antonk & her husband Jason, his brother in laws Thomas Wells, John Suplita and Robert Satterfield & his wife Barbara who was like a son to him, many nieces & nephews, 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister in law James Wright & Katherine “Sis” Wright and by his mother in law Judith P. White.
Robert was a member of the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, the Fairmont Knights of Columbus #942, a Fourth Degree 2114, a past member of the Rivesville Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad. He served in the United States Army, having been stationed in Germany in the 1960’s. He enjoyed bowling, playing bocce and horseshoes.

The family will receive friends at the Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, 207 Second Street, Rivesville, WV 26588 Friday, March 30, 2018 from 3-8 p.m. The Fairmont Knights of Columbus #942 will conduct a vigil service in the funeral home Friday at 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Deacon David Lester. The committal service will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens. Military Funeral Honors will be conducted at graveside by the Military Veterans Council of Marion County.
