Obituary of Mary Frances Kisner

Mary Frances Kisner, 102, of Fairmont, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017, at the Fairmont Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mary was born on May 28, 1915, a daughter of the late Adolph and Sophia Pitlik Schmuck. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard B. Kisner Sr.

Mary is survived by her son, Richard B. Kisner Jr. of Fairmont and three special nieces, Sally Wilhelm of Fairmont, Carolyn Pauletta of Grafton and April Stottlemire of Jordan.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by her two brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Kisner was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and enjoyed quilting and gardening. She was a true homemaker.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of the Fairmont Health and Rehabilitation Center for their loving care.

The family will receive friends at Ford Funeral Home, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont, WV 26554, on Monday, January 1, 2018, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. A vigil service will be held in the funeral home at 7:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 329 Maryland Ave., Fairmont, WV 26554, with Father Jojan Joseph C.S.T. as celebrant.
